What a day! The three of us left early in the morning and got back around 4:00 with bags and bags and BAGS of clothes. Browns. Greens. Grays. Maroons . . . and more Browns. But most of all: fur and fluff. Our cart looked like we shot and skinned a pack of wolves AND the herd of sheep they were after.
At the end, we found an empty corner and organized our morbidly-obese cart, draping skirts over that rack, vests hung here, pants hung there. At one point as we were putting together outfits and deciding what to discard when a lady said something over the loud speaker (something we didn't hear) and Miriam imitated her voice saying, "Could the three girls who cleaned us out of all things fluffy please leave the premises?" we had a good laugh at that.
We'll be doing some fittings, seam-ripping, and sewing over the next few days. Our first day of filming looks like it will be in 2-3 weeks. Woo-Hoo! It's starting to feel real.
