Today was a short day.
My core cast (Hook, Wendy, and Peter) all had a number of small solo scenes to shoot so we knocked nearly all of them out today. We filmed Hook in the bamboo lying in wait for Peter and Hook being chased by the crocodile--what a fun set of shots! I can't wait to insert my CGI Crocodile. We also filmed his conversation with Tinkerbell at the fairy celebration. Of course, Tinkerbell wasn't there, but Mason is such a good actor that it didn't matter.
We also filmed Peter on the roof listening to Wendy's bedtime story, that was a fun shot because--according to the script--Tinkerbell tugs on Peter's hair to get his attention, so we tied a strand of fishing line to some of Creed's hair and Madison (Wendy) actually sat on the roof with him and tugged on it. That will make a fun behind the scenes shot. We also filmed Wendy sitting by the window from the very beginning of the movie, and the very end of the movie where she famously asks Peter, "You won't forget me will you?" and smiles when he replies "Me? Forget? Never."
I can't praise my core cast enough. They have put in so much time and energy and they always give 100% to their performance. Thank you all so much!
