Oh my goodness. Best shoot EVER!
Our neighbor has beautiful landscaping at her place we we went over earlier in the day to scope out a place to film. It felt like we were walking through Neverland. We found the perfect tree for Peter to hide in and fool Hook, the perfect pond for a crocodile to come out of, and the perfect bamboo cave for Hook to hide in with his gun.
All of the footage was spectacular. Peter and Hook's duel was intense (partly because Pan's sword was breaking on us) and the footage of Smee and Black Murphy was priceless. Micheal had no idea, coming into today's shoot that we planned on stringing him up in a net, and he was just a little apprehensive about the whole thing, but in the end he acted his part beautifully. Wendy was just a little disappointed that it got dark before we had filmed her fight scene with Black Murphy, but we'll be coming back for that in a couple weeks.
What a great cast we have!
