Talk about magical , . .
Tonight was our second night shoot. The first was filming day five when the pirates captured the little boys. That night it just got dark and we kept filming. Tonight we had to wait until it got dark. I ran out with Creed and shot his "I do believe in fairies" scene in the woods while Wendy, Hook, and Tinkerbell entertained eight little boys in the house, waiting for the sun to go down.
We then turned on the generator, attached the extension cord and stood back amazed. Non of us had seen the trees all lit when it was dark and it was beautiful. We had the car parked right outside the hollow so the headlights could shine in. We tried to play music for the boys to dance to, but the generator drowned it out. So, instead, they drowned it out with their singing.
It was a beautiful night. After I got back from driving all the little boys home, I went back out there and got a bunch of empty footage of the lighted branches, I'll add our fairies in post production and it will be even more magical.
