Today was important for two reasons . . .
FIRST: We finally finished up the "Saving Micheal" scene. We have been filming pieces of that scene since Day Seven and today we finally got the concluding shots. And--let me tell you--they were some pretty awesome shots. Hook sneaks up on Peter and nearly shoots him out of the tree but Peter swings down and they sword fight instead. Creed (Peter Pan) swung out of that three four times so that I could get the shots I needed. I can't wait to get the footage into my movie editor.
SECOND: It was Mason's (Hook's) last day of filming. I KNOW! It was so sad. He's been so much fun to have on set, not to mention one of the best actors that I've filmed. BUT, thank goodness this isn't the end-end. He gets to come back one more time and record some ADR in post. It's just a sign that filming is coming to an close.
