Scenes: Welcome to Neverland, Shoot the Wendy Bird, and The Bedtime Story
What a wonderful day.
I made the rounds and picked up five of my lost boys. They played duck-duck-goose in the car (imagine that) while I drove them back to our place where Peter Pan, Wendy, and three more lost boys met up with us. Getting dressed and makeup-ed was simple, we just ran our hands through the boy's wet hair and used eyebrow pencil do give them smudges on their cheeks. They were adorable!
We did two scenes in the hideout AND the "Shoot the Wendy Bird" scene. That one was my favorite because it was the boys' favorite. Each of them got their own homemade bow and set of arrows. They loved wresting with each other in the little clearing and I loved watching them do it. I'm super pleased with the footage and everyone had a great time. We'll have another day of filming in just a couple days. It's a race with the clock because all the leaves are slowly turning colors. Red, orange and yellow leaves are pretty, just not in Neverland: land of eternal youth.
