Today was the last full-cast filming day, and it wasn't even technically a full cast because Miriam (Astrid) is off to college (and loving it :). We miss her, but we had an awesome day.
We filmed the "Kill the Dragon!" scene, where Hiccup arrives in Berk on Toothless's back and misunderstandings ensue leading to Toothless and Hiccup's imprisonment. It's the low before the low, so all that great acting hides the fact that we were having so much fun. There was so much improvising and laughter . . . you'll see what I'm talking about when I post the BTS photos . What a great day!
AND . . . we had a guest star join us later. Madison, who played Wendy Darling in our Peter Pan film, came back from college and did a cameo.
Thank you to my whole cast. Through heat and mosquitoes and wet clothes and long days and late nights you were ALWAYS so optimistic and so helpful. This video is awesome because of you!
