The Workshop is finished. All it needs is a Viking-genius-chief's-son-turned-dragon-rider to step foot inside. Turns out he will . . . TOMORROW! Filming is upon us. Hold everything, this train suddenly got kicked into high gear.
But, take a few minutes to appreciate one of the best sets we've created. We thought the Lost Boy's Hideout was pretty cool. Nope.
We cleaned out our own workroom (no easy feat) and then scoured the house and the garage and the shed for everything and anything that looked viking: baskets, chisels, gloves, fur, leather, boards, rope, string, shells, carvings, helmets, weapons, axes, wooden bowls, boxes, stoneware, cast iron, and (of course) or homemade candles.
I live for the little details: the odds and ends.
Sometimes I wonder whether we make movies just so I can set stuff up.
And there you have it: a viking workshop worthy of Berk's finest viking. Watch out for more photos yet to come. Filming tomorrow means a blog post with some sneak-peak-photos.We couldn't be more excited!
