As you can imagine, with a film like Peter Pan, there are a lot of special effects: flying, fairies, pixie dust, etc. And that means lots of GREEN SCREEN.
We had to do a bit of green screen with The Force United, but we struggled to make the image crisp.
I wasn't taking any chances with this video, so I bought three 9x15 green screen sheets, and set them up in the basement. One on the floor, one on the wall and one to drape over things. Then, i started to perform tests--as many as i could and as early as I could.
Above, you'll see some of my creations. I had to make sure I could make the kids fly, that I could add pixie dust, put Tinkerbell in a bottle, give the fairies wings, and create a crocodile. I still need to see if I can make the pirate ship fly, but for that, we need a pirate ship and we are still on the hunt.
So far so good. With every test I perform, the more excited I get to film the real thing.
