Tangled is our favorite Disney princess movie, but it wasn't the first Disney princess movie we retold. About two years ago, we made Cinderella with our a different set of cousins, But don't go looking for it on YouTube because it was the first movie we ever made and we thought we ought to spare you the learning curve.
Tangled was created when Seth, Evan, Grant and Stella came to spend a month with us during the summer. We decided to redeem ourselves after Cinderella, so we divvied up the roles, scrounged up some costumes, and dug the camera out of our Dad's office closet. What a fun day!
There's an Easter Egg at the end of the film that only those few who have seen Cinderella will get. The swing where Cinderella and her prince sit during the ball (pictured above), is the very same swing where Flynn and Rapunzel sit at the end of Tangled. Maybe it will become a tradition if we ever do other princess videos.
