We had our first full-cast-filming-day (nearly . . . Hiccup wasn't there) last week and we had a blast? There weren't a lot of behind the scenes photos, because no one was manning a behind the scenes camera, but we did get a few. Check it out!
Turns out the viking commons has a toy area in one corner. Who Knew?
Is that Stoic? Or is that a gansta rockstar in a heavy fur coat?
Matthew did an amazing job as Stoic, but the beard kept getting in his mouth, making it hard to say the lines. That's definitely something we'll be fixing for next time. Even so, he said he really liked the beard. I'm kind of excited to see him fight dragons in it. Can you see it? Watch out for the flying blond braids!
The very last scene that we shot was of Stoic and Gobber talking at the fireplace. There wasn't a lot of food left, so they reserved one of the bowls of blueberries to eat from during the shot. These blueberries were fresh, might I add, picked just this morning. So . . . between each shot Stoic and Gobber were robbed by other hungry vikings. In the end, there wasn't a single blueberry left.
