We are a Star Wars family -- no secret there. Mom was in elementary school and Dad was a junior when the the first trilogy came out and they thought it was the coolest thing on the planet. Mom's favorite character back them was was Mon Motha (Galactic senator, leader of the Rebel Alliance, and first Chancellor of the New Republic -- in case you were wondering).
When the seventh Star Wars was released, it was a big deal. We all curled up in the living room and watched it on our big projector. Why didn't we watch it in theaters? Well, two reasons: (1) We like to watch movies where we can skip the scary stuff, and (2) We are movie makers so nothing is sacred. We discuss camera angles, props, costumes, dialogue, special effects, lighting, and acting all the way through the movie; it's something they typically discourage in movie theaters.
The Force United in no way measures up to the new Star Wars movie, but we sure learned a lot about working with green screen and making props. Even now, it's one of our favorite K.O.F. videos to watch.
